Another Successful Rushbearing at Christ Church!
We are delighted to share that this year’s Rushbearing Festival at Christ Church was a tremendous success! With over 20 fantastic craft stalls set up in the church, the event drew visitors from near and far, making it one of our most memorable Rushbearing celebrations yet.
Our talented stallholders brought a vibrant mix of handmade crafts, artwork, and unique products, offering something special for every visitor. The variety and quality of the stalls created a wonderful atmosphere inside the church, transforming it into a bustling hub of creativity and community spirit.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who attended, we are proud to announce that over £1,300 was raisedduring the event! These funds will go towards supporting the ongoing mission and work of Christ Church, helping us to continue serving our community.
Visitors Came from Far and Wide
We were thrilled to welcome visitors from across the region, with some traveling from as far as the south of England and Scotland to be part of the Rushbearing celebrations. The festival provided a fantastic opportunity for people to experience the rich traditions of Rushbearing while also supporting local artisans and the church.
